Brand exploration for the Philadelphia Flyers 2020 season campaign. Built on Broad connects the past and present of Philadelphia’s iconic hockey club. From the Broad Street Bullies to present day, the Flyers and Broad Street are molded as an iconic duo. This concept pitch further ties the Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center to everything Broad Street.

Manifesto


For decades, the National Hockey League has only known one Broad Street. A house of horrors for those who came to visit. A spectrum of spectacles. An exploding expansion team. Similar to our city, our history is deep, and our values run tried and true. Like many of our own, we were born here. Raised here. Established in South Philly, and haven’t left since 1967. A team built on grit, toughness, and passion. A blue collar attitude by day and orange sweater by night.

We are the Orange and Black of Broad.

You could say our town has a reputation, no one likes us, and that’s how we like it. So for those that come to our city, know one thing. Philly pride is inherited It’s forged generation after generation.
